It's the Demographics, Stupid.

The "Gaza is the most over-populated place in the world" meme is meant to put even more pressure on Israel to surrender parts of the West Bank, which is also ostensibly "over populated" with Palestinians. They need more lebensraum, dammit.

The problem is-it's a bunch of hooey. Most of the hysteria about Palestinian demographics comes either from bloated, fake UN sources, and outright lies about who is living and who is dead, coupled with scaremonger tactics from Israel's academic left.

The good news is that despite the hysteria, there are some facts.
