OK, seriously-is this not the ultimate in "cultural accommodation"? It's not bad enough that we are expected to change our way of life for sharia etc...we must now even shit like them?

After reading about what these guys are doing all day, I'd just rather we just give them their own toilets.... just so the rest of us don't have to touch anything they have.

I am afraid to ask this... if they don't use modern plumbing what do they use.
I have had the not so fun experience of having to use one of these in Japan and almost fell in.
If anyone should be copying any toilet it should be the Washlet- also Japanese. The seat is heated and has a built in bidet with warm and cold water and operates with a little control panel on the side. Very nice indeed and you can concentrate on going to the bathroom instead of not falling in!
