Clumsy Terrorists Alert:
I think today we will start to hear the MSM start their 'hey what a bunch of bungling amateur' stories about the most recent attempts by Islamic terrorists to murder kufars.
Now, I know it's totally CRAZY to think that Muslims might use an airplane as a weapon of mass murder and stuff, but did you ever think they would be able to use printer ink? I don't think that is amateur hour-to me that indicates a chilling level of sophistication.
Basically, we need to assume that they will use everything on G-d's green earth as a potential weapon of murder.
Humans, grass, cloth, airplanes, shampoo, you name it and they will find a way to use it as a tool of the death cult.
Jewish Houses of Worship:
Obama is soooooo smart, isn't he? You would think he might know that there is a word for "Jewish houses of worship". They are called synagogues. Yes-that's where Jews congregate to pray.
Is it my imagination or do you think he really is loathe to even mention the word "synagogue" in association with the "security threat" directed by Muslims at Jews?
Something to think about.
UN Should Be Nuked and Razed to the Ground Update:
A smart friend of mine, who goes by the name of Buzzsawmonkey around these internet parts, suggested that it is not a coincidence that the UN picked these past few days to announce that Jews should give up any rights to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron.
He thinks this is a signal of outright denial of Jewish rights, by the UN, to the Land of Israel.
It's interesting, this past Shabbat, we read the Torah portion of Chayei Sarah-the life of Sarah the matriarch. It is very much related to Hebron.
We discussed whether or not the UN's suggestion was coincidental, or if-like the Nazis-they coordinated this verbal and political attack with the actual Jewish holiday or day of significance for Jews.
Buzzy reminded me that the Nazis knew well enough when Yom Kippur was and offered food on that day.
Do you think it's possible that the UN has someone on staff-a la Nazis, who knows enough about Jews and Jewish observance to coordinate such an assault?
I wouldn't put it past them actually.
The other thing this week is the attack on Israel and the Jewish people by the Middle Eastern and Eastern representatives of the Catholic Church-without a very strong repudiation by the Pope.
I'm keeping my eye on that as well.
Are all these things happening in a random fashion? Or is it just another wave of the eternal hatred, which some of us see more clearly than others?

This is partially because of leftists and feminists and because men (and women) living in democracies have cushier lives now than ever before in human history. They don't have to fight.

Another Puzzled Conservative Goy Asks....

There is a very simple answer to this question. It's because these Jews are leftists first and foremost. They just happen to have been born Jewish.
There are very few observant/religious Jewish leftists. There is a very good reason for that.
Judaism is, contrary to popular myth-NOT about 'social justice' (although there are very compelling socially 'just' ideas within Jewish tradition).
Judaism is about serving G-d through the mitzvot-the commandments, and its about monotheism and absolute morality.
The further Jews drift away from these ideas, the more left-wing they become.
They want to sit with the popular kids at lunch.
Test out my theory. It applies to all uber-liberal lefty Jewish organizations and their idiot "leaders".
History matters little to these leftists.
They are also impervious to silly things like facts and reality.
I wish I had a dollar for every time someone asked me this question.

Why Are So Many British Women "Reverting"?
It's a pretty easy question to answer.
The UK is a socially degenerative mess right now. People aren't going to church, and their only joy is drinking.
Islam offers the promise of traditional nuclear families, and traditional male-female roles-something that "liberated" women claim not to want-but their biology and genetics betray them.
There are many other reasons, including the spiritually unsatisfying life that most people live in Britain now.
The former diety-liberalism-just is not emotionally or intellectually satisfying for a lot of people.
Some women also crave to be dominated-it's just a fact.
Islam takes away all decision-making for these women.
I think the question is not why are so many British women converting to Islam, but given the caliphate-oriented direction of the UK-why wouldn't they?

Team Life Versus Team Death
I was thinking about Rob Ford's victory in the Toronto mayoral elections.
I was not able to vote for Mr. Ford because I live outside the Toronto border, but I have been a fan of his for a number of years.
I think his victory is not just a signal to Toronto's liberal elites that the party is over, but on a macro level, it represents a victory for the flawed, but industrious family man, and I respect Mr. Ford for that.
He is a married man, who comes from a close family and has two young children. In other words, he has already made choices that indicate some of his character. Nobody forced him into public service. He could have taken the 'easier' route of running the family business.
I respect that as well. Lots of people complain about our public servants-and there is much to complain about-but few people step up to the plate to give it a shot.
It has been pointed out that Toronto voters rejected the gay, liberal Mr. Smitherman.
I actually think his homosexuality has very little to do with the rejection-although it is a small part.
For many years, we here in Canada, and in Toronto have been forced to swallow the "diversity" agenda. We have been instructed by our uppers that we shall have no questionable thought about homosexual, bi-sexual or otherwise 'progressive' sexual behaviour.
We are told to "celebrate diversity", celebrate other cultures even at our own culture's peril (see-trial balloon for sharia in Ontario) and must cow tow to the most earnest, humourless and bland human conversation and interaction ever known to mankind.
The elites which for us to swallow a steady diet of morose, joyless living.
Toronto has rejected a number of liberal myths with this election. One is most certainly the liberal myth that throwing money at a problem fixes it.
Let's think about it for a moment. Those who have abandoned belief in the Judeo-Christian G-d, still require a system of belief. Many put their faith in humans, and in the misguided utopian view that all humans have perfect potential. They think that human flaws are fixable with human intervention-another false premise.
But most of all, they think that throwing money at a problem is the way to fix it. One of their chief dieties is money.
They are dishonest humans who will not look at the real reasons why humans are flawed: some humans make bad choices. Some humans choose evil, and some humans are simply better and more moral than others.
For these truly clueless liberals, every problem comes down to various aggrieved groups being underfunded. There is no individual responsibility, only blame.
That's why they throw money at problems-they really think that if they throw their diety, their superpower at problem people and problem behaviours, it will disappear!
I like to hang out with the kind of people who own their mistakes. If I screw up-I wear it.
Do I like to admit I screwed up? Not much.
Do I enjoy eating the occasional shit sandwich-no. But I do.
The most depressed and depressing people on the planet are liberals.
Their attempts at humour are juvenile or just mean and stupid.
Humour and love of life is on the right side of the political spectrum and this is wholly related to those on the right of the political spectrum understanding and treasuring the sanctity of human life-no matter how "damaged" or old.
Those are my kind of people-no matter what their colour or religion. If we agree that we are on Team Life as opposed to Team Death, we're gonna get along just fine.
I see this as a human litmus test and it has worked for me so far.
In the meantime, I am truly enjoying liberal Toronto sobbing in their TimBits this morning. One can only hope their veritable Exodus will be next!

Why Families Fall Apart
Growing up, I took part in a historic family tradition and feel very fortunate that I experienced the family meal.
I think that this is one of the reasons why families do well-by eating together and talking together at the same meal.
The family supper is incredibly important.
People are often shocked that my family eats supper together every night, but that's a choice that we made.
If that makes me a stuffy broad, I'll just have to live with that.

Actually, they are ME and my buds and we are hitting the road on November 1 for Steynopalooza in London, Ontario.
Whilst in London, we shall meet up with the regular crowd of hatey, hatey, teabaggy, ChristianCrusader bloggy Islamophiles.
Honestly, how much fun will it be possible to have in one indfidelicious evening?
My only concern right now is that sitting on the cold, hard pavement early in line to get good seats may cause creases-and November winds may not be good for the hair.
I must find out if perhaps a few seats can be put on reserve for the hard core commuting contingent from Toronto....

This case shows how Toronto police have really got things wrong-AGAIN.
As in the case of the Chinatown shopkeeper who is being criminally prosecuted for making a citizen's arrest on a chronic, thug, unrepentant shoplifter-in this case as well, they just don't know when to retreat.
It was a mistake to give a doctor, on his way to literally save a man's life, a $300- ticket.
The judge in this case agreed but the police spokeswoman is now spewing out that they are really afraid that this will cause a rash of speeding doctors taking up a second career in street racing just because the could use the excuse that they are doctors, or something like that.
Toronto Police-can you please, pick better battles? Can you, TORONTO POLICE SERVICES, please figure out what are the important battles and what the idiotic ones are?

Avoid These Women
This is a pretty upsetting article.
One of the most upsetting parts is that we are supposed to "celebrate" the "success" of these women.
I found it utterly pathetic. I don't know why these women bothered to get married, and I really can't figure out why they had children.
The tone of their discourse seems to be that they have 'no choice' but to be the man of the family because they are more manly or something.
I think they are sad, empty shells of women who are married to a bunch of dickless eunuchs.
Men who don't earn money feel completely emasculated.
It's one thing to take some time off work to take care of kids-and we also had a situation for a while where my job was the solid one, and my husband was more available to the kids earlier in the day due to his location and the nature of his work.
There is a lot of juggling when you have kids.
But for now, I am comfortable saying that I don't want or need any more work hours or a bigger, fatter title and responsibilities outside the house because my household ones are very great and challenging.
These women have sold their souls, and modern feminism is holding the mortgage.
A real shame.

He has written some very interesting books.
I couldn't get through his book on the Six Day War, I found it really boring and turgid, but the one about America and the Middle East and the Barbary wars was really excellent.
Anyway, Oren is basically a leftist hack who should go back to the ivory tower and just STFU.
As Caroline Glick has noted, he hasn't a bad word to say about Obama, and should really be recalled.

The breaking news is that prosecutors are requesting a part acquittal for the (sharia charge) of insulting Islam or Muslims or whatever.
Is that like being sort of pregnant?
Wouldn't it be better if authorities did the right thing in the first place?
Here in Canada, ("the Deranged Dominion-as per Steyn's characterization) they dragged Ezra Levant through the Human Rights star chamber much to their later regret, and dragged Mark Steyn and Maclean's Magazine through a similar HRC Orwellian quagmire before backing down.
And now, here in Toronto, the police are charging an immigrant storekeeper-collaborating with a known, convicted shoplifter, to prosecute an honest business owner for a citizens' arrest and holding him "with a weapon" (his box cutters were on him, he opens boxes at his grocery store).
They are digging their heels in.
The police are failing the people they are meant to serve. Most depressingly, this is something that crosses party lines here in Canada and in Ontario. Conservative and Liberal governments and politicians are reluctant to be truly hard on crime.
Remember OKA, and think of Caledonia for just a few recent examples.

This is a real tragedy.
How many teenage girls of Muslim immigrants will have to die before some kind of protection is offered to them?
If only lefty women's organizations would take a breather from their anti-conservative rhetoric, and their lefty-Islamic alliance to focus on a problem of REAL violence against women, perhaps some of these murders could be prevented.
Instead, we will hear denunciations from Muslim organizations, saying that this isn't the true spirit of Islam, that there is no coercion in religion and of course-that this is a generalized domestic violence issue and of course nothing to do with Islam.
It has probably already started, but I'm too sickened by this to take another look.

There are few people I loathe more than those who torment the disabled.
These cowards only pick on kids and adults who are unable to defend themselves physically or mentally.
I'm not sure suing anyone post-facto is the answer.
I think what is needed is a more preventative approach, less head-in-the-sand about how even children with cognitive disabilities can be hurt and frightened when their schoolmates terrorize them.
And some understanding about what it does to a parent mentally when they imagine their child being tormented at school and nobody seems to care.
