But, upon reading this article-I was really aghast.
Check this out:

"After a respectful pause in which agents allowed the prayer to end -- and removed their shoes Khan stepped outside the mosque, at 7350 NW Third St., and was handcuffed."
Ummm, excuse me?
Why this exquisite deference to Islamic customs by police officers? Twenty five to thirty HEAVILY ARMED officers had to let prayers end-to be "respectful" of the suspected terrorists and remove their shoes in deference to Islamic customs?
I'm sorry-do you think that if there were suspected Jewish terrorists in a building that it would be at all normal for the officers to put on yarmulkes before they arrested the suspects? Is the world going totally crazy???
Such a nice man!! Couldn't possibly be a "militant".
So deserving of respect: "In addition, the indictment alleges the elder Khan supported the Pakistani Taliban through an Islamic school that he founded in the Swat region of Pakistan. Khan allegedly used the school to provide shelter for the Pakistani Taliban and has sent children from his school to learn to kill Americans in Afghanistan."
But don't interrupt his prayers and take your shoes off, you dirty kufars!

These people do not need to be coddled. They laugh at us. Taking shoes off and waiting for prayers to end just convinces them that we are weak and imbeciles, deserving of their contempt and slaughter.
