I'm pretty happy that The Canadian Jewish Congress is dead, but not so happy that there is another moronic, bloated Jewish "establishment" organization of Official Jews to take its place, with more funding and more Awesome Branding Experts and More Experienced Professional Jews to blather on about the 14 neo-Nazis from Bupkisville, Ontario and their expensive Nazi Markers of Doom.

So many problems with the entire concept of a Jewish Congress, I don't even know where to start. How about this, "the CJC was noted for promoting social justice within Canada".

What a bunch of dog squeeze. There are plenty of organizations that promote "social justice" in Canada, why did the community have to use community dollars for its leftist agenda-while thousands of Jewish parents in Canada struggle to send their kids to Jewish day schools and camps?

This was Bernie Farber's agenda-leftist first, Jew second-which is clear by his seamless foray into politics for the Ontario Liberal party.

The new organization was "culminated in an 18-month process in which hundreds of people were interviewed, formal briefs came in from Jewish groups, and surveys were conducted both within and outside the community".

I don't remember being surveyed-nor do any of my friends. Was there a web site soliciting opinions? Most people I know would say that it's all a waste of money. I wonder how much that 18 month process cost the community?

How about this: "When a Canadian synagogue gets sprayed with graffiti, “it’s something that affects the community directly here in Canada."

Ahh, beautiful, but when Muslims demonstrate in front of the Israeli consulate screaming "we are going to kill your Jewish children" it is no big deal.

Others are worried that the new organization will "diminish the community’s ability to defend itself and Israel"!

Are these people out to lunch or what? The people who defend Israel are those serving in the IDF. Then there are friends of Israel, who-while not having an immediate impact on the physical defense, that is to say-the existential threat to Israel's or Jews' existence-are nonetheless part of the battle between Israel and the Muslim-Leftist axis.

They are friends of Israel and friends of Judeo-Christian society.

Jews in Canada do no need to "defend" themselves from anything except the physical threats posed to them by 1) growing Muslim immigration from countries with clear jihadist sympathies and lifetime indoctrination and 2) assimilation and the adoption of the Church of Liberalism.

Frankly, I'm sick of wanker, weakling Jews even WANTING to be on the defense.

I want Jews on the offense, to offend and to push our enemies into defensive positions.

Toronto Police Handcuff 9 Year Old With Aspergers

Heard about this story yesterday.

My feeling is that there are definitely situations where children with disabilities can harm themselves or others. I think calling 911 and handcuffing a 9-year old might have been an over-reaction. I don't know this for a fact, because I don't know the specifics of the situation.

I do know that most 9 year olds are smaller than most adults working in day cares. And I know that most police officers are bigger than most 9 year olds.

Those are the facts.

What I worry about is the use of "restraint" on children with special needs.

The disabled cannot speak for themselves. We have to err on the side of vigilance and yes-even suspicion when it comes to their well being.

The British NHS seems either to have a comprehension problem with the rejection, by patient's families of the words "do not resuscitate" on the medial orders chart of their loved ones, or they are purposely choosing to be the Angels of Death of the UK.

A woman in the UK is suing the NHS for putting "do not resuscitate" orders on a chart after it was put there without consent, removed and then added again without the consent of the family.

This is an evil system.

There can be no justification for any hospital employee-whether doctor, nurse or anonymous bean counter to add those three words onto a patient chart without the explicit, informed consent of the family. I don't care if the reasons are economic, theological, moral or arbitrary-this is a family decision.

I am personally acquainted with a family here in Toronto who had this situation happen to them in a local hospital and their daughter died as a result. The family were more than willing to take home their disabled newborn-but apparently someone in the hospital thought otherwise-that it wouldn't be wise.

Busy Day

Sometimes people joke about how I am so NOT a night person.

Those people rarely know what kind of a day I put in.

Every parent knows that sleep is just not the same after you have had a child. Even when your kids sleep, the sleep is not really that deep and restorative-you're still kind of listening to them breathing, and I know I am up at the drop of the hat even if I hear someone cough.

You never know when you are going to get that "Mommy, I don't feel good" poke at 3:00 a.m or thereabouts.

And in the case of a special needs child, even with nighttime nursing help a few days a week, it's still not restful.

Today, the younger ones are being juggled from place to place while Mom and Dad work. My lunch break will be spent getting a CT scan for my special needs kid.

I play a pretty tough Jew broad on the Internet, and I'm pretty tough in real life, but I'm actually scared. Without going into details, there is another new, chronic, "manageable" but incurable condition that we are now dealing with.

With a non-verbal child, diagnosis and management is especially difficult. The tests are the only way we really know what's going on, what hurts and if the medications and interventions are "working".

The good news is that there is no outward sign that my kid is unwell-no dramatic changes or very worrisome sudden things.

But I'm pretty mentally exhausted about dealing with, and learning about yet another chronic condition and becoming an expert on yet another medical situation.

Needless to say, posting today will be minimal if at all.

Random Effing Tired of Jihad Post

Every once in a while, one must take a break from Jihad Studies 101.

There is so much gloom and doom around-and if there is one thing I really, but REALLY hate, it's a wet blanket.

I'm actually putting a concerted effort this week into thinking about the things that I can personally do and organize to have more fun.

My short list actually has introduction to belly dancing on it.

Scoff not!

My husband thinks it's pretty funny that his Ashkenazi Polish Princess wife is considering belly dancing-but it looks way fun, it's great for the middle section and I will look way less spastic doing that as opposed to any kind of "Latin" dancing. I really don't think I have the groove for Salsa-in fact the very thought of it makes me crack up.

I do love contemporary dance though.

Anyway, so dance is on the list as is a little more music.

Then I'm going to pare down my very minimalistic closet again. Some people ask me about fashion and trends..I guess I could write a longer article, but in general, these are my thoughts.

Don't be fat. Fat is disgusting and no clothes look good on fat people.

Throw out stuff that is dated no matter what quality it is or how much you paid for it. Also throw out (or donate) stuff that you haven't worn in 6 months. You will not wear it.

Make sure ladies, that your hair and make up are not stuck in a 20 year old time-warp.

Pick the brains of the make-up gals at the counter. Ask them "what do you think would look good on me"?

You don't have to buy all the stuff.

Look around you-what are people who look good wearing? Would it look good on you?

Generally-stay away from patterns. Loud patterns are very distracting-better to wear mostly solids and wear some piece of kick ass real or costume piece of jewelry.

Don't be afraid to stop people on the street and ask where they got stuff. I do this all the time.

I was at an event in Michiganistahn a couple of months ago, and one of the waitresses stopped me to tell me she loved the colour of my dress (periwinkle blue) and that she always buys dresses in that colour as soon as she spots one.

This woman was very petite, and nice looking-dark, sort of Latin looking and about my height. She told me she had a web site that I HAD TO LOOK AT for dresses.

She asked where I got my dress and we swapped notes.

So, I'm passing along this web site-it's Boston Proper and they do have VERY nice, feminine, very sexy dresses and accessories.

I think the models have unrealistically big, plastic looking boobs for their very slim figures-but that's what is apparently popular.

I'm very flattered that this woman thought I could manage some of these dresses-some are much too young for me, but others are exactly the type of thing I like.

I haven't ordered anything from them yet, but thought I would put it out there.

All this is to say that people do notice what you wear, and how you are put together.
