OF course, the Holocaust did not begin with actions, but nor did it begin with words.
It started with banning words.
Pre-Hitler Germany had 'hate speech' laws, much like we do today, and Jewish leaders were happy with how they were working... But, when a government usurps the right to legislate what speech is and is not allowed - and a person like Hitler comes to power - then the government WILL used those censorship laws to do very, very bad things....like the Holocaust.
Never trust politicians with the power to censor speech - no matter how nicely they wrap it up.
I reserve the right to speak my mind at any given time which may or may not offend some or even everyone at this blog.
