Toronto Street Food: Nanny State Edition.
Dear Mayor David Miller: You know that if your best friend, The Toronto Star, can't get behind your over-regulated, boring, idiotic street food plan that you might have a problem. As far as Toronto's current administration goes, there is absolutely NOTHING that can't be over-regulated. Everything needs to be forced down our throats, from the toilets we flush to the food we may purchase. They ban water bottles, guns (instead of crime and illegal, drug-dealing immigrants of course). Maybe all the people of the city who would like better edible offerings on our streets should just camp out "peacefully" on the streets of Toronto, a la Tiger Tamils. I think we would get better results if we used the Tamil playbook.
