Socialized Medicine: UK Version, Women Forced to Give Birth in Hospital Toilets
Ahh the glories of the British NHS: there seems to be some issues with birthing in the UK lately. Now, a rash of women have been forced to give birth in hospital toilets, offices and hallways because of a shortage of doctors, money-whatever.America-you should definitely go this route.

Comparing the two systems US and UK isn't a valid comparison. In the US we have 40-50million without insurance coverage, so my question is how many of those people deliver their babies at home, in the car, in the hallway? We're not even giving coverage as a basic human right, yet our system is still rated lower than many other industrialized countries. How's that for a sign that the US is screwed already.
I'm in the US. Last time my company changed health insurance providers I was forced to leave my current doctor (unless I wanted to pay out of pocket). It took me 6 months to get into the practice of the doctor I then found that I wanted to take my family to.
Take the profit out of the system and it won't be perfect but at least it will try to help all the citizens of this country.
