That's a bit confusing-- "gymnasium" is the German word for high school. I don't think they mean the gym - just a room in the "gymnasium" complex.
That's what it means, "A German ordered a gymnasium in Berlin to provide a Muslim student with a prayer room, German media said." which is funny enough.
