Ah, this explains it all.
His 'issue', we might surmise, wasn't his contradictory roles as US Soldier and Good Muslim, it was that the blond hussy with the outrageous implants and room-temperatue IQ wouldn't go home with him after his dropped a couple of C-notes on her.
