Gee, how hard can it be to outsmart us when the American government can't bring itself to stop a bomber with a Muslim name, who's on a watch list, travelling with no passport or visa, paying for a one-way ticket in cash, carrying no luggage, and ratted out by his own father -- he still managed to get through security in at least two airports (Lagos and Amsterdam), to makes the transatlantic crossing, and almost detonate his bomb.
He came within one (surprisingly-ballsy) Dutchman of killing 300 people. And this is a guy that was on the radar screen.
With that sort of 'smarts' on our side, I'm surprised we're not all dead yet.
