Stupid White American Men Becoming Racist Or Something
Just like they suddenly turned racist and into overnight hillbillies in MA, the same thing is happening to Democrat "men".

Now, now, C-in-C, let's be fair. The little crapweasel who wrote that at least gets a few things right, despite somehow thinking the Springstein referenses are actually relevant to the point.
White men, particularly straight, Christian White Men, have been a target in this country for many years now. If it wasn't Affirmative Action taking achunk out of us, it was feminism, and if it wasn't that, then it was Gay Men and finally Illegal Aliens; the point being that besides the Obese, Straight White Christian Males (SWCM's) are the last group in America that's okay to discriminate against.
The author was right about two things;
a) Obama's election had more to do with the panic caused by the financial crisis than it did with his politics, policies or personal charisma. Desperate people do desperate things -- like vote for unabashed Socialists who fling the buffalo bagels with style --the man did manage to survive Reverend Wright, his terrorist associations, his racist wife, terrible VP pick, calling his own grandmother a racist and obvious lack of experience to achieve the office.
What they expected, whether it was realistic or not, and what they got were two separate things, but they expected more moderation. I think, more than anything, they expected that idiot Biden and a "Steady" Congress to keep Obama's worst inclinations in check.
More fools they.
b) This recession (We call it the "He-cession, beacuse the fields hit hardest - construction, finance, manufacturing, are where the greatest losses of jobs, typically done by men, are to be found - has hit White Males harder than any other subsection of the population, and what they get is a Stimulus Bill which stimulated nothing, a Green Jobs Initiative which sees the jobs being created in China, Fatcat bankers and Corporate Execs bailed out, surrender to Iran, bowing before Saudi Princes, Politically-favored Unions (less that 20% of the US workforce is Unionized) getting favors and money, and then they're saddled with a Health Care plan which was all the talk for the last 16 months. A "plan" that no one wanted, and which 50% of the population (the 50% that pays the taxes, if they're not unemployed and homeless by now) will have to pay for, but not benefit much from.
c) There's a specific group of SWCM's this author is aiming at; the group once called "Reagan Democrats" - the (mostly Blue-collar) people who voted for Jimmy Carter because he seemed a better option than Gerald Ford (with the stain of Nixon's Pardon, and the Fall of Saigon on his watch) - and then promptly dumped him for Ronny when he proved to be an idiot who didn't get it.
There's an obvious effort afoot to paint the people who will promptly dump Obama as rcists and kooks ahead of the midterms, and eventually, Obambi's own fall from grace. This way, 'liberals' can continue the fallacy that America, despite having elected a BLACK MAN with a sizable majority, is still a racist nation. It dovetails nicely with all the fake-but-accurate reports of democratic Congresscritters being harassed and threatened.
d) The author parses a lot of numbers, which may or may not be factual (my estimate is that support for Obama lower than what's being reported), andthis too, is part of the sleight-of-hand. I put no more stock in his numbers than I do Obama's CBO numbers for the "Health" "Care" "Plan".
In coming years, SWCM's will be int he minority in this country, as well, thanks to rampant illegal immigration (next item on Obama's agenda. Can you say "Amnesty"?),and this may be the last chance to put the country back on it's legs before it crumbles completely.
That's why we're pissed off.
