Not really news. The U. S. has done nothing substantial to prevent, punish, or disarm the eight (that we know of) states that have obtained nuclear weapons since 1945.
When you say "no" eight times, and eight times it happens, you are modeling the behavior. Your dog would get the message, why wouldn't Iran?
I'm sure that you've noted that today President Obama announced new restrictions on the use of nuclear weapons.
OUR use of nuclear weapons.
