Rampant Islamophobia in Ontario?
Here's what went down, allegedly.
A Muslim dude walks into a government office and threatens to kill others and himself.
Government workers call the police on the Muslim dude.
The police say the dude was "irate", but dropped charges.
However: "Police investigated the situation and dropped the charges against him before transferring Urquia to St. Catharines General Hospital for a mental assessment."
It's hard to believe that the people in the government office would make something like this up. And, a policeman from the Niagara Region says that from what he was told, there was cause for concern and the safety of regional employees was at risk
Go figure.
