Professor Rubenstein's intellect, academic attainments, and professional achievements are well above the common run of humanity . . . but it does not require a CV as impressive as his to reach the same conclusions regarding our--shudder!--President. I know a push-cart hot dog vendor here in Jacksonville who prospectively inferred as much, in 2007, from a moderately assiduous reading of widely available background material on Mr. Obama. By now only the willfully blind or tribally fanatic can fail to see where his Presidency is leading us.

I fear that, unless the Republicans are able to take back control of Congress in November of this year, the prospects of survival for the State of Israel in the short term, and for the great and noble political and human rights evolution that began with Magna Carta and culminated in the U. S. Constitution in the somewhat longer term, are dim.

I hope and pray that enough Americans will have the fortitude to face the awful realities that have befallen us, and the even worse ones that are likely to befall us in the future if the Obama/Democratic regime is not unseated in short order. Thank you very much for doing your part in presenting these unpleasant truths to a segment of the public.
