When I worked as a volunteer in the McCain-Palin--the latter should have been at the top of the ticket in my opinion, but I digress--campaign in 2008, I had an actual "dialogue" with Obama supporters that was uncannily like the one in the video. When confronted with facts about Mr. Obama's political past and unsavory associations, and the facts that underpinned U. S. military intervention in Afghanistan and Iraq, their retort was pretty much that "Obama is awesome, he 'looks like America', he's the candidate of hope-and-change" and "Bush lied, people died." They absolutely refused to engage facts and logic. (Which worked out pretty well for them in the end, I must admit, as it so often does in political contests.)
