You don't have to be a genius to make a baby, but you do have to have some kind of skills to raise one.
But it takes a certain kind of narcisistic (not "desperate"-that's bogus) parent to drug their child and get a false "medical" diagnosis to get "free" cash from the government.
Sickening-and I hope this is investigated further.
The number of children that are on drugs nowadays for made-up psychological illnesses is horrifying.
ADHD used to be called "being a boy".
We will pay dearly for this assault on our young people.

The misdiagnosing of ADHD in American public schools is rampant. As a physical therapist working in a U. S. public school system, I see this phenomenon all the time. The dirty not-so-little secret is that schools push parents to get the diagnosis for their kids, usually boys, because (a) Ritalin makes them more manageable (and teachers' hands regarding traditional discipline are now tied by a plethora of policies and procedures that make effective discipline nearly impossible); (b) once a behavioral dysfunction diagnosis is on the record, schools can shuffle the kid into the "exceptional student" category and receive greater funding from state and federal government programs.
