I heartily agree. The beautiful leading ladies and handsome leading men of pre-late sixities Hollywood exuded class from their on-screen personae (whatever they might have been like in private). And, I would argue, they also emanated several orders of magnitude greater sex appeal, wearing full evening regalia, than today's nymphs and satyrs do prancing buck naked on the screen. (Modern filmmakers seem oblvious to the important distinction between the erotic and the pornographic.)
