Something about it rang familiar to me, and then I remembered who said that thing about the breeding like mosquitoes?

OH YAH, NOW I REMEMBER.

Flashback: Canadian blogger/author/superstar Mark Steyn quotes fanatic European mullah:

"In British Columbia, the Steyn hearing proceeded with all the marsupial ungainliness of a kangaroo court. No one knew what the rules of evidence were. Hilariously, one of the chief complaints against Steyn was that he quoted a Muslim imam in Norway bragging that in Europe “the number of Muslims is expanding like mosquitoes.” If that insect simile is out-of-bounds, the commission should swoop down on Norway and execute an extraordinary rendition of the imam."

And anyway, if all us "popular" Canadian bloggers are sooooo disgusting and stuff, then why bother reading us and stealing our stuff and putting them on your mainstream newspapers and letting your columnists run with our ideas and our scoops?

I guess us hateful bloggers are like the Playboy of the blogosphere, read in the dark-with a flashlight under the covers at night?

If we're so yucky and primitive why bother reading us at all?

The New York Times, Huffington Post, NPR and CBC have ridiculously boring tripe on their sites that conform to the non-primitive mindset. Hang out there.
