In one nicely packaged sentence, he boils down the Israeli-Arab conflict (or more accurately known as Dar al Islam Against Jew Jihad and/or Jew-World Leftist conflict):
"...it’s not just that in Egypt a Jew can’t be Finance Minister but that a Jew can’t be.
This is the point that people refuse to understand, it's too ugly in a post-Holocaust world. They know it on an instinctive level, but it is not fashionable to actively proclaim this sentiment. All energies are diverted toward "anti Zionism" or "anti-Israel" activities-when the real problem is the existence of the Jew.
Because it’s not just that in Egypt a Jew can’t be Finance Minister but that a Jew can’t be
It doesn't matter how much jizyah we pay, or how many Jewish homes are destroyed and families uprooted. It doesn't matter if Achmed gets his ancestral falafel stand "back", and the olive grove "returned".
The point is that the Jew exists! This is an affront to the sensibilities of the Jew hater! It is insulting to the honour of the Jihadi!
We dare breath, we dare to be! We dare to live!
We dare to return to the places we once called home!
Countries must become Judenrein, and from there the planet.
The hatred will flourish, the Judenhaas will never end.
We need to fight it by living Jewish, supporting Israel and embracing friends of Jews and friends of Israel wherever they are.
Mark Steyn is one such friend. Jews, and indeed western civilization must be thankful for his elegant clarity and unflinching courage in the face of constant and barbaric obfuscation, incessant intimidation attempts and the daily assaults on our freedom and basic liberties by the totalitarian forces of the Jihad and leftism.
