Yeah, I agree, the whole prisoner "exchange" deal was not only disturbing _in se_, but also because of its Alice in Wonderland quality. What makes it truly alarming is that ones sees these indeces of civilizational suicide all over the West, not just in Israel. (I would agree, though, that the ton of bricks that is about to hit Israel as a result of having turned loose > 1,000 rabid terrorists is going to have a greater, more immediate impact on that small country than it would on larger polities committing the same kind of dumb mistake . . . like,say, the U. S. getting out of Iraq under circumstances that just about guarantee it will become a client state of Iran.)
