Making the latter part of that suggestion at a Peace Corps training session dealing with how to interact sexually with the locals--essentially strategies for copulating with them without getting them pregnant or getting pregnant by them (depending on the sex of the volunteer, natch) actually got me kicked out of the program in 1982. (I was deemed to be "too rigid" in matters of sexual morality . . . though how that is a bad thing in dealing with people in foreign cultures whose nuances one does not understand fully is a bad thing was left unexplained.)
