Annoying Phrases Liberals Use, Part Eleventy Million and Seventeen

Arghhhhhhhh!

As if my head wasn't throbbing enough this fine sunny February morning, I have been bombarded with a veritable shower of lefty, wanker jargon once again.

Last year, there were two contenders for most annoying. One was "flipping" e-mail to people instead of "sending" them to people. Seriously-is that not so obnoxious? You have to say it with a smarmy tone also "so-can you just FLIP that to so-and-so".

The other thing that made my skin crawl was "landed". That is used instead of a phrase indicating that a decision has been made.

"So, have we 'landed' on a title for that?"

Barf!!!

Lately, there are people who consistently use the phrase "would that make sense" or "does that make sense".

This is used as a genteel way of suggesting either that you are a moron for not having already agreed with their previous, helpful suggestion, or of ordering you to do something but couching it in fuzzy language that they think 'helps' you come to their ("right") conclusion.

The problem is-you cannot actually response "no-that does not make sense" without sounding like, well-LIKE YOU ARE TELLING THE TRUTH.

Monday. Another Monday.
