Celebrate Diversity in the UK!

As Mark Steyn said in London, for many Muslim women, the best case scenario for their lives is growing up in a body bag, wrapped up like a factory product, unable to feel sunshine on the face, and then given to a man for an arranged marriage.

Worst case scenarios lead to death by "honour" murder.

Here's another one of those increasingly common worst cases.

Shocking: Documentary on "Honour" Murders Wins Top Award

I wasn't able to attend the screening of this film at Hot Docs-but it looked really amazing. How it got through the normally lefty establishment is quite amazing. Anyway, I am really shocked that it won the top award, but I think that is a good sign. We cannot ignore Islamic "honour" murders.

Western Islamic "Honour" Murder File: UK Edition

Seems that another doting Muslim father has saved the family's "honour" in the UK by killing his daughter.

"Tulay Goren was killed on 7 January 1999 after falling in love with Halil Unal, a fellow Turkish Kurd twice her age. The family disapproved because he is a Sunni Muslim while they are Alevis, from a different branch of Islam."

"Police believe her body was cut up and buried temporarily in the back garden of the family home. The remains have never been recovered. The family are originally from Elbistan, south-eastern Turkey, and adhered to the code of namus, or honour, practised by many rural communities there."

What a charming important into their new, host country.

The only positive thing to come out of this story is that her mother and sister found the courage to testify against their husband and father-and that poor Tulay can now be laid to rest in peace with a proper burial.

Barbarians.
