UK Is Screwed: £145 For Muslim Youth To Pretend to Be Anti-Terror Police

Now I have seen some pretty stupid ideas in my time-heck, I live in Toronto where statist hemp-wearing David Miller throws taxpayer money down the toilet all the time...but this is just incredibly stupid.

Can you imagine the multi-cult bureaucrats that came up with this idea...

"By jove, I've got it-I know how we can make them love us! Let's get our beloved Asian youth to empathize, and to really UNDERSTAND what our police go through...surely if they see that we love them, and want to just hug them to bits they will not accuse us of being racist! Let's have a make-believe cop program-lovely idea..make sure you don't have pork in the sandwiches and let's make sure that they know that we feel that Islam has nothing to do with terror..."

The UK: Slightly Less Screwed!

This is an encouraging news story. A judge in the UK has called for the end of the term "honour" killings, and railed against an abusive Pakistani-whoooooooooops-"Asian" family. (Confirimation of Pakistani origin in this article.) "A senior judge has called for an end to the use of the phrase “honour killings” to describe what is “in reality sordid, criminal behaviour". In the first ruling by appeal judges on the issue, Lord Justice Wall condemned the idea that arson and acts of revenge likely to result in murder were matters of “honour” for Muslim familes. As he gave a controversial ruling refusing a Muslim father permission to challenge the placing of his children in care with non-Muslim foster parents, the judge said that the activities brought to light by the case had nothing to do with any concept of honour known to English law. “They are acts of simply sordid, criminal behaviour and a refusal to acknowledge them as such," he added. "
