Vancouver Lawyer Posthumously Wins Human Rights Case

I don't recall reading about this while it was happening. The philosophical question, of course is, if a Human Rights victory falls down in Vancouver-is it still a victory? Well hell yes. It's pretty damned funny. "Gibson, who died of a heart attack on March 24 at age 60, was representing the Abbotsford Times newspaper before his death. ..Nina Watt had brought forward a complaint to the tribunal based on a column written by Jeremy Postal, a pastor at the Christian Life Community Church of Abbotsford, that was published in the Times. In describing feminists, Postal wrote the following: “These women are often single or in a bad relationship, watch The View, are stubborn and pushy, gossip maliciously and are submissive to no one else but their own plans and desires often disguising their feminism under the slogan of ‘freedom from male tyranny’.” The complaint was dismissed. Condolences to Mr. Gibson's family and posthumous congrats as well.
