Very Diverse Lunch

Earlier this week, I had lunch with a colleague who I found out recently, is part of the secret underground of joyful people. There were three of us at lunch. Me, the new secret member and someone who is a long-time member. We discussed the fact that my supervisor recently handed me a twenty page document, suggesting that I read it in order to be 'up to speed' about the issue. What was handed to me? My company's report on diversity. How exciting. I said that I would definitely take a peek and file it away. We had a moderately good chuckle about that. I started ranting about diversity, and what a crock it is and that here in Canada, we are truly beyond shoving "diversity" up our collective wazoos. If you walk into any office building in Toronto, or any school, you will see real, actual diversity-not manufactured phony baloney "diversity". I said to my fellow lunchers that I am sick and tired of hearing lunatic Marxist rant about how there aren't enough left-handed lesbian gnomes who drive purple Volkswagen buggies in our workplace. With impeccable timing, "J" said to me that he believes the correct term is "little people". I almost fell off my chair. The thing that is pathetic is that I had to find out over the course of several years who I can have a laugh with about this stuff. There really needs to be secret handshake or a secret t-shirt or song, otherwise, like-minded people with little tollerance for liberal fantasy life, totalitarian and opressive political correctness, and make-work utopian projects have to resort to apprehensively throwing out little trial balloons, desperate seeking other fun, joyful people. "J" told us the story of a British comedy troop that spoofed the self-esteem movement. Passengers on a plane hear the captain come on the PA system and announce that, unfortunately, the plane is going to crash and there is nothing he can do about it. The pilot says "it's really a shame we are all going to die, but really, it's because I never did pass my tests at flight school, but they passed me anyways because of the affirmative action programs-but the main thing is, I feel really good about myself". The other freaky-deaky thing that happened at work was a colleague who actually quoted Rashid Khalidi as an expert. He was saying "it's like Rashid Khalili said..." and my mind kind of went blank. I knew this person had Islamist sympathies, but when you hear someone like that refered to casually as a respected source-you know you are in big trouble. I can't really divulge more details, but I have some serious concerns about this person's political activism.

I Hate the Khadr Family

So, one of the secret underground guys came to my office today and asked me how I felt about Omar Khadr possibly being set free shortly and we had a good laugh because if I hear one more word about that psycho terror family, I'm going to blow. We have other colleagues who are political agitators and activists on his behalf. The Khadrs want you dead. What more do you need to know?

Birth of a Blog

Welcome to my blog! This blog is for people who are forced to hide their politically incorrect opinions because they work with people who are intollerant of diversity of opinion. This blog is for the people who have to search out the secret underground of like-minded people where they work and play. This is a place where you can share your story of the repressive thought police that surround us. Wherever you live, and whatever your profession, I'd like to hear from you. Together, we can fight back the forces that may wish to silence us. We will expose the lunatics, mock the earnest, and keep our level of joy turned up to 11. Please note: I am new to this blogging stuff. So please be patient while I figure out the technical side of things.
