Judging by the comments, most Texans are not terribly impressed.

Soon we'll hear about not getting the right hallal food, the toilet facing Mecca and torture claims.

The fact that Hassan is still getting air is too nice for me.

There is something incredibly disturbing about the fact that innocent American soldiers were sacrificed by their own superiors to the death cult of Islam-in the person of the Ft. Hood jihadist.

I believe that all the officers who were so damned pleased about having their precious multicultural, Muslim shrink on board should be at the very least demoted-or be on trial for complicity with the eventual murders of their comrades-in-arms by a bloodthirsty jihadist radical.

The Boston Globe today reports that Army superiors were warned about the radicalization of Major Nidal Malik Hasan years before he allegedly massacred 13 soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, but did not act in part because they valued the rare diversity of having a Muslim psychiatrist, military investigators wrote in previously undisclosed reports."

Isn't that special?

Who are the people who signed these documents? Who are the officers and commanders who turned a blind eye to his obvious radicalism - because they thought it was very special to be "diverse" and "tolerant" and all that nonsense.

When Hassan made his very clear 'how to be a jihadi terrorist, and why I think that's A-OK" presentation, his superiors were clearly spooked, but too afraid to report him because of the cult of political correctness and diversity surrounding him.

In other words, American soldiers have been so brainwashed and bullied by the thought police that they ignored their own damned common sense. If this can happen on American soil - think of what can happen in foreign battlefields.

Hassan's presentation was not just a nagging little incident, it was basically the first time a Muslim soldier in the US Army was presenting a point-by-point manual of jihad to his colleagues.

And because they were scared of being called racist, or "Islamophobic", they unwittingly contributed to the largest jihadi murder of American citizens on American soil since 9/11.

Among other observations, the reports note the following:

"[H]e exhibited a single-minded fascination with religion that was inappropriate for an Army officer and one that intensified over time,’’ the investigators concluded.

"The behavior continued as he entered the master’s degree program in public health later that summer, according to the testimony of multiple Army officers.

"Other officer students repeatedly raised concerns about Major Hasan’s preoccupation with Islam, including allegations by students that Major Hasan justified suicide bombing and stated Sharia law took precedence over the US Constitution,’’ the report said. “The class instructor did not recall all the statements alleged but acknowledged that a class presentation in August 2007 had to be ‘shut down’ due to the class reaction and that Major Hasan appeared quite distressed.’’

"It was during this period, one of his instructors told investigators, that he thought Hasan’s internal conflicts placed him at risk of developing psychosis."

First of all, that there are multiple jihad-inspired lecturers at US army bases and colleges. That can't be good.

Also, there seems to be a lot of money being funneled to some company to set up these lessons. What do we know about them?

A Step in the Right Direction or More Dhimmi Paperwork?

So, it appears-at least on the surface that somebody in the United States army realizes that they had a major SNAFU with regards to Dr. "Jihad is in keeping with his research interests" Hassan.

A committee has been meeting, with donuts and everything and they have come up with some new guidelines.

It's hard to imagine how they missed the fifty bazillion red flags this guy-or rather the GREEN flag (you know the one) on him if not for willful blindness and the stranglehold of political correctness.

One thing I do see in this report is a bit of sensitive deference to political correctness-imagine that...the new regulations and procedures will not only protect people from jihad-but protect American Muslims in the army from suspicion.

Why the West is Screwed

E-mails from the Ft. Hood jihadi about murdering fellow infidel soldiers were deemed "consistent with Hassan's research interests" and therefore not followed up.

Death by diversity and political correctness.

Where is the outrage from Americans? And what about the families of the victims? Nothing can bring back their loved ones, but something has to be done to ensure that cowardly deference to radical jihadis has no place in the American army, or in any other western defense forces.

"Recruiters recognize Arab-American enlistees may worry about fitting in with fellow soldiers or having to fight in Arab or Muslim countries. They work with Arab organizations in the community and attend job fairs to meet potential recruits. They hire Arabic linguists to work in their office, learning about the Middle Eastern cultures themselves."

"Sgt. Ian Parker, 27, who also recruits for the Army in Dearborn, said he starts conversations with potential soldiers by asking how they feel about going to Iraq or Afghanistan.

"Once you hit an objection to that, you're just wasting your time," Parker said.

Imagine how many lives might have been saved if someone had listend to Sgt. Parker's advice.

The other thing that is not mentioned in this article is that there are many non-Muslim Arabic speakers in the United States. There are Egyptian Copts, and other Arab Christians, and hey-how about Arabic speaking Jews?
