The main point of the Ground Zero Mosque, is, of course-a victory mosque.
But as "Imam" Rauf also helpfully puts it, it's all about dialogue, and all those uppity kufars who keep wanting to blame 9/11 on Islam of all the nerve!
So the point of all of this activity and dawa is to pound into all of our dirty infidel heads that"Islam is not at the root of this".
They don't have all the necessary land, or the money. Construction workers are threatening not to build it. A large majority of New Yorkers and Americans in general are against it.
I'm starting to wonder if this wasn't just a profile-raising exercise for the gentle Imam and his wife, and/or a psychological terrorism dry run.
Maybe, just as terrorist attacks are planned and tested with a dry run, the jihadists of the word decided that they would send out a trial balloon to test American resolve nine years later.
What is the most offensive and provocative thing that the terrorists and their enablers could cook up? Cartoon rage would not really fly in America-but there had to be something. Festive Eid celebrations coinciding with the 9/11 anniversary were discouraged.
The more I think about it, the more I think it actually could be a psych-operation, part in parcel of the psychological warfare and terror that they wage against us.
If you don't have all the funding or the land, and you know that there is going to be some pretty raging opposition to building a mosque at Ground Zero, and that right-thinking people all over the world will be even more enraged if you announce your plans around the 9/11 anniversary-why go through with the exercise.

America is such a great country, such a strong country, and here they are celebrating a few dumb trees at the site.
You know how nature abhors a vaccum? Well, that's what there is in America now, a spiritual and physical vaccum at Ground Zero. And Islam and sharia are just thrilled to bits to be able to fill it in.
For such a great country, for such an awe-inspiring society, the lack of new, better, more glorious skyscrapers in downtown Manhattan makes America seem weak.
Every day that goes by with their absence in the skyline is an additional, not-so-subtle reminder of the staggeringly disproportional power of those who brought them down.
No wonder they feel entitled to their victory mosque.
We have created both the physical conditions and the liberal, guilt-ridden, morally inept and inverse philosophical and intellectual climate for a Ground Zero Mosque to rise and prosper in place-it appears-and not in addition-to new skyscrapers.
Whoever did this is a frikking genius.

We learned, a few weeks ago, that a shameful desecration of Ground Zero was being planned.
The three words that would forever change that hallowed ground were seared into my mind: Ground Zero Mosque.
I have just learned that the Ground Zero Mosque has gotten the go ahead. In the place where Muslim fanatics brought down the Twin Towers, where Americans of every colour, religion and background jumped to their deaths from burning buildings, there will be a mosque.
There are still no new towers, but there will be a mosque. What a triumph for Islam! We, in the West are so pathetic. Not only do we not fight back but we lionize our enemies. Has there ever been another society in human history that fawningly invites the people who are its existential threat, to come and build a place of their worship, at the place where they have already killed members of your family and nation?
To be sure, there were anti-democratic elements in Bismark's Germany. There were treasonous Americans and other Westerners who sided with the communists against their own nations also.
But the extent to which liberal Westerners coddle, and celebrate Islamic terrorist, I believe is unprecedented in human history.
One New York politician has been quoted as saying that he understands the 9/11 families' discomfort, but he must bow to his new Islamic overlords, and honour the Cult of Diversity:
"Manhattan borough president Scott Stringer has been the target of disparaging remarks by Tea Party Express chairman Mark Williams for supporting the plans. [ed: what a disgusting addition, a Tea Party slur].
"But, standing in front of the ragged building at the centre of the proposal, he defended his position and condemned offensive speech directed at him or Muslims."
'What I want people to do is to take a look at the totality of what they are proposing,' Mr Stringer said. 'What we're rejecting here is outright bigotry and hatred.'
How obscene. Utterly obscene.
"Some victims' families say they are angry that it would be built so close to where their relatives died."
Hey-no big deal, right?
"Mr Stringer said he understood the sensitivities of the families."
Liar. Despicable liar.
"I don't think anybody wants to do anything to disrespect those families. They made the ultimate sacrifice,' he said."
Excuse me? They were MURDERED in COLD BLOOD by Muslim terrorists. They did not choose to sacrifice themselves. They did not enlist in any army. These were civilians, you smug bastard.
"'At the same time, we have to balance diversity and look for opportunities to bring different groups together.'
And there you have it.
What matters is balancing diversity.
As I said previously, I believe this is a watershed event in American history. It is a capitulation to Islam of an unprecedented nature.
There can be no recovery from this catastrophic physical presence at Ground Zero, and the natural intellectual conclusions that Islamic fundamentalists will draw from this move. It is a physical and a metaphysical victory.
The final, victim-directed and victim-inspired transformation of Ground Zero from a memorial and permanent reminder of the barbarity and innocent victims of Islamic terror to a site where Islam is lionized, celebrated and nurtured in our midst is now complete.
Ground Zero is now a tribute to the death cult, the living, breathing heart of Islam in the middle of the body of America.
Lord help us help ourselves through this.

Apparently, the plans for the Ground Zero Mosque may be slightly delayed or canceled due to a lack of funding.
What's interesting about this is to see the American moonbats and moonbat foundations that support this initiative, and to see the names on their board. It's like a check list of fifth column warriors within America.
The thing is, while this may seem like a good news story, my worry is that it is essentially a solicitation for Saudi Arabia to step up to the plate.
I do hope that some investigation of their financial 'irregularities' takes place. It certainly seems like there is enough strangeness to scrutinize the organizational, legal, and advisory board structure more carefully.

Where is our fight? How much worse will things have to get before they start to get better?
I think that anyone who cannot understand the primal victory of Islam, evidenced by the three simple words: Ground Zero Mosque, is a lost cause.

The places where the towers once stood are still empty holes-billions of dollars later. The families who had loved ones and friends murdered, jumping out of buildings, burned to death in planes, in the buildings and on the ground-they are being mocked.
The souls of the victims cry out from heaven begging us to stop capitulating, warning us of more bloodshed, yet the culturecide moves forward. The Judeo-Christian west continues to voluntarily kill itself, continues to submit and demographically decimate itself.
I believe this is an unprecedented time in human history and in the history of democracy.
Who would have thought that we would be living in a time where people living in democracies voluntarily turned their backs on freedoms, becoming too lazy to defend them-and in doing so, inviting the totalitarian Islam to take up the ensuing vacuum with glee, happily inserting itself and sharia into our lives.
What society would condone a memorial to murders in the field of their deaths that celebrates the religion of the murderers?
This is the lazy, masochistic West.

"I presume that these people aren't going to be gathering there to plan another attack," she said.
"The Muslim organizations plan to announce the groundbreaking later this year, possibly to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the attacks, [this is not a coincidence in other words, but a purposeful celebratory commemoration/tribute] Khan said. It could take up to three years to build the Cordoba House [memories of glorious Muslim Andalusia]; the groups currently have no funds for the project but plan to start raising money, she said."
