I think every Canadian I know has had a bad experience with Air Canada, but certainly-destroying a dying 8 year old's wheelchair and forcing him to be bed-ridden for 15 hours on his dying wish trip to NYC certainly is the worst.

I'm beginning to think that we deserve the Ground Zero Mosque because we are a bunch of defeatist wankers in the West and you reap what you sow.
I was listening to that Florida pastor talk about Burn the Koran Day and I don't agree with everything he says but at least he has some balls.
Burn the Koran Day is not a great strategy, unless the goal is media attention. I don't believe any books should be burned, we need words to document what people believe and book burning is fickle and arbitrary. Those who cheer it today might be somewhat surprised to see their favourite, or holy books burned tomorrow. For me-no book burnings or bannings.
At least he has the guts to say that Americans do not want sharia replacing the constitution, and that sharia is not welcome in America.
Gutless. We are all gutless.

Reading this article in the morning made me groan with familiarity. GAH!
I have two novels in the works in my brain.
I have about 7 chapters for one of them, and the other one is always in development in my head..I know the characters, the plot, I can practically see the characters-can hear the way they talk and dress. I really need to churn it out already.

Italian "Latin Lover" Falls Flat With Tourists
I was in Rome a few years ago, and I was totally aghast at how wimpy the men were.
They were thin and feminine and had greased back hair and big, ghey sunglasses.
They wore very girly clothing and they were so close shaved and oily, like they were using body oils or something.
An Italian friend of mine insists that it's like that only in Rome-that there are no mamma's boys in the country.He says it's "shirt off" eating, workman country...That's more like it.
So, I guess I gotta go to Tuscanny or something one day.
Anyway, turns out I was totally on the mark about Roman she-men.
