"A BRITISH air stewardess was sacked for refusing to fly to Saudi Arabia after she was ordered to wear a traditional Islamic robe and walk behind male colleagues. Lisa Ashton, a £15,000-a-year stewardess with BMI, was told that in public areas in Saudi Arabia she was required to wear a black robe, known as an abaya. This covers everything but the face, feet and hands. She was told to follow her male colleagues, irrespective of rank. Ashton, 37, who was worried about security in the country, refused to fly there, claiming the instructions were discriminatory. She was sacked last April. “It’s not the law that you have to walk behind men in Saudi Arabia, or that you have to wear an abaya, and I’m not going to be treated as a second-class citizen,” Ashton said last week.

A Beheading Only The LA Times Could Love
Awww. Isn't that so sweet? The Los Angeles Times shows us that the beheading of Aasiya Zubair Hassan is actually a good thing, because it shines the light on the generic, can-happen-to-everyone-especially-white-people problem of domestic abuse. There is a shiny side to this story after all. So what if Aasiya is dead-the point is now we are really, like-totally, seriously gonna talk about womyn abuse.

Aasiya Zubair Hassan died Feb. 12. Her husband, Muzzammil Hassan, has been charged with second-degree murder. Together, they had built a Muslim TV station in New York.
See? She just "died". Just like that. The layers of collusion in this story are reprehensible-police aware of domestic violence, friends who knew, imams who knew, and even the victim's own delusional forgiveness of her tormentor and ultimate murderer. Shame on every one of them.

Vancouver Lawyer Posthumously Wins Human Rights Case
I don't recall reading about this while it was happening. The philosophical question, of course is, if a Human Rights victory falls down in Vancouver-is it still a victory? Well hell yes. It's pretty damned funny.
"Gibson, who died of a heart attack on March 24 at age 60, was representing the Abbotsford Times newspaper before his death. ..Nina Watt had brought forward a complaint to the tribunal based on a column written by Jeremy Postal, a pastor at the Christian Life Community Church of Abbotsford, that was published in the Times.
In describing feminists, Postal wrote the following: “These women are often single or in a bad relationship, watch The View, are stubborn and pushy, gossip maliciously and are submissive to no one else but their own plans and desires often disguising their feminism under the slogan of ‘freedom from male tyranny’.”
The complaint was dismissed. Condolences to Mr. Gibson's family and posthumous congrats as well.

Yah-nothing says I love you like aborting your own children. I know it's crazy, but wouldn't having live children be a little more loving? That whole 'part of you, part of me' thing sounds a little nutty in this context-don't you think?

Bone Marrow Drive: You Can Save A Life
If you are in good health, please-please consider getting a simple blood test and registering for the international bone marrow registry. You can save a life, just by being you. Are you on the list? I am. Once I got a call that I was a preliminary match for someone (3 out of 6 matching points) and was asked to take further tests. I felt so blessed that I was going to have the opportunity to help save a life. Unfortunately, I was not a perfect 6 point match. But I know people who have been saved by this miraculous treatment for terrible forms of cancer. A Jewish guy from Toronto was saved by an anonomous German donor with Native Indian ancestry-you just never know who will match who. The registry is international-not specific to any one ethnic group.

Very Good News: Canadian Constitutional Foundation to Help Gym Owner Fight Human Rights Complaint
Welcome to my world!You'll remember the story of John Fulton from St. Catherines, who had a "lady with junk" as they say, try to get into the women's change room at the health club. Looks like the Canadian Constitutional Foundation is stepping up and helping Mr. Fulton fight the outrageous OHR complain against him:
"The Canadian Constitution Foundation is a non-profit organization that protects constitutional freedoms through education and public interest litigation. It has agreed to help Fulton raise funds for his defence, expected to cost as much as $100,000. "They've basically said they'll help fund this all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary," Fulton said.
The complainant's legal fees are borne by the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
Fulton has owned and operated fitness clubs in the Niagara area since 1982. He said his clubs have supported the Niagara AIDS Walk for Life as a title sponsor for more than 12 years. "This is clearly a David and Goliath case: a small business being prosecuted by the might of the state," lawyer John Carpay, executive director of the Canadian Constitution Foundation, said Tuesday. "This case also involves freedom of association, which is a fundamental charter right enjoyed by all Canadians."

As far as I am concerned, if you are fully veiled, or fully keffiyeh-faced, you are wearing an outward modern symbol equivalent to the swastika. It means to me that you have submitted fully and take the kill the infidels stuff pretty seriously. The LA Times is probably giddy and orgasmic, but people with any brains in their heads would view this appointment as more (or should I say "Mo") Kick Me signs on the back of America. Hardy har har.
